Ken Razak joined the WSU faculty in 1943. During WWII he taught aeronautical engineering and airplane design to engineers from the Wichita aircraft factories. He continued after the war with the development of a School of Engineering. He left in 1964 after a tenure of 21 years. During those years four engineering departments were established and accredited. Masters Degrees were inaugurated and engineering laboratories developed. With the sponsorship of local companies he designed and supervised the construction of a 7' x 10' Wind Tunnel. It is described in the link to the left.
